About Me
Hi there! I'm Kwasi Edwards, a passionate software developer and cloud computing enthusiast born on July 24, 1994. With a solid academic foundation from the University of the West Indies, I am on a mission to create value and drive innovation using my expertise in software development and cloud computing.
Education
I completed my BSc in Computer Science with honors in 2017, and later, in 2022, I specialized in Cloud Computing for my MSc degree. Both of these accomplishments were achieved at the St. Augustine campus of the University of the West Indies, where I was able to deepen my understanding and skills in the field.
Career
My career has been marked by a rich mix of experiences. I have had the privilege of contributing to renowned companies like Amalgamated Security Services Limited and Digicel Trinidad and Tobago, as well as exploring remote and freelance work with Clear Converse, Upwork, and Fiverr. These varied opportunities have allowed me to broaden my perspective and strengthen my expertise in software development.
Entrepreneurship & Academia
In addition to my professional journey, I am an entrepreneur, having founded Sundae Bytes Limited in 2016. This venture focuses on bringing ideas to life with industry-standard technology and stunning visuals.
I am also an educator, serving as an Instructor and Teaching Assistant at the University of the West Indies. I thoroughly enjoy sharing my knowledge and passion for computer science with eager minds.
Interests
Outside of work, I spend my free time diving into the world of coding, creating unique digital experiences, and continually enhancing my skills. For fun, I enjoy playing the popular online game, League of Legends, a strategy-based game that complements my problem-solving skills.
